Get Creative with Our Galberts Pizza Kits

With the popularity of baking and cooking at home on the increase, Galberts have seen the opportunity to increase its product range with a delicious bake at home Pizza Kit.

Launching at the end of 2020, a year when we have all had some hard times, food has been one of our escapes. With pizza being a popular dish and people having time to bake at home a lot more, we have created the ultimate Pizza Kit to curb your pizza night cravings.

The Galberts Pizza Kit includes one dough ball and a portion of tomato topping sauce. In four easy steps mentioned below you can have your very own homemade pizza topped just the way you like it.

Galberts Pizza Kits are now available to purchase from your local Supervalu, Eurospar and convenience stores across Northern Ireland, and convenience stores across Ireland. The Pizza Kit will also be launching in Tesco Ireland from the beginning of June 2021.

Preparation and Cooking Guidelines

1. Remove the dough from the fridge 10 to 15 minutes prior to use and preheat the oven at 230°C (fan oven) or 250°C (convection oven), with the baking tray inside.

2. Put flour on the dough and working surface. Stretch it preferably by hand, or, if needed, with a rolling pin applying limited pressure on the dough. Once you have reached the desired size and thickness, place the dough on a tray with baking paper.

3. Add the tomato sauce and garnish with the ingredients of your choice.

4. Remove the hot tray from the oven and slide the baking paper with the pizza onto the hot tray. Then, place the tray in the bottom of the oven and bake for about 12 minutes until the dough is sufficiently coloured. The baking time may vary depending on the topping, the oven and the thickness of the pizza.
